The Antigo Gridiron Club meeting was called to order by President Joel Nowinsky at 6:30.   The meeting was held at Schofield Stadium.

FINANCIAL REPORT:  Joan Bauknecht gave the financial report.  Noted that we haven’t received bill for the ticket booth, Don Strobel made a motion to approve the financial report, Rick Warren seconded the motion.

RAFFLE THIS FRIDAY:  As of the meeting about $400.00 worth of tickets sold.  We will do one final push before the winners are picked on Friday at the game.  Proceeds will help pay for the new jerseys for Freshman next year.  They will cost approximately 1536.00.

GATORADE and ORANGES have been supplied for every game by the Gridiron Club for the players at halftime.  Deb Black asked that the Gridiron donate $100.00 for festivities for Senior Night this coming Friday.

DICK BENNET, a former high school coach who went on to coach at Stevens Point, UW Green Bay, Wisconsin Badgers, and Washington State is being presented by the Kiwanis Club on October 24.  He is known to be an excellent speaker.  The Gridiron Club has offered to pay for tickets for this event for all of the Freshman through Varsity football teams if they are interested in attending.

TEAM BANQUET:  The team banquet was discussed, and the senior parents are beginning preparations for that, hopefully after a long playoff period!

DONATION from Ed Vavruska will go toward new headsets for the coaches.  The Gridiron Club thanks Mr. Vavruska for his support.

CHRISTMAS PARADE:  Don Strobel suggested that the Gridiron get involved in the Christmas Parade and Chili Cookoff in town, and would like to know if anyone would be interested.

THE NEXT MEETING will be held on November 10, 6:30 at the Refuge.
